As to locating white gloves, mine are years and years old, try re-sale shops and garage sales, sometimes pharmacies carry them, too. piecefully, the old one

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion with natural colloidal oatmeal. Doesn't leave my hands with that icky shiny greasy feel, no residue on fabrics and no perfumes.

Walmart has this too. Fairly inexpensive.

Dr. Mercola has a hand and body lotion that is completely non-allergenic. Besides that, it doesn't contain the petroleum-based chemicals that many lotions and cosmetics do. And it soaks right in and doesn't leave your hands greasy. You can check it out at http://www.mercola.com. No, I have no connection with them - don't get a commission - I'm just so happy to have finally found something I can use without any adverse reaction. If you're having severe skin dryness, get some loose white cotton gloves and rub your hands with olive oil at night and put the gloves on.

Bag balm is greasy but very hypoallergenic. They make a lotion as well that is much better but harder to find.

My husband has very bad dry spots on his body and we've found that Lubriderm works amazingly! I've even used it on my hands, had to rinse them and it still keeps on working!

I haven't seen anyone mention my favorite - Lotil-which has kept my fingers from cracking for many years.The only place I have found it is from Vermont Country Store which has a catalogue but is also online. They also carry white cotton gloves and many other products from long ago--perfumes,lip-sticks,soaps that you can't find anywhere. I have shopped their online store for years and they are so reliable!
