When should I put the prairie points on?

I put the prairie points on before I quilt because its much easier to handle that way. Too bulky and heavy after you quilt it. But i could be doing it wrong. i usually am :roll:

Miss Thimble and everyone else, too, I think I will be putting any pp on just the top for all the reasons stated. The only time to do otherwise is when I am not smart enough to have it all planned out first! :?
