Manual can be downloaded for free from the International Sewing Machine Cllectors Society web site as can other manuals. Foot Identification is not complicated.
Main thing is Clean it (with mild dish soap Using great control to not leak into motor and mineral oil where needed) and oil it from one end to the other. Do not use any polishes on the dacals. The bobbin case area is usally the worst area for lint and must be cleaned completely. Don't sweat this- you can do it carefully and if yu managae to get a jam there are directions on the web on how to remove and reset the bobbin machanism.

I'm just calling her an early birthday present for myself. ;) I'll be 24 on the 20th.
Edit: I'll have to check out that book, thank you!

Congratulations - you will love sewing on Anise. Make sure to clean and oil your machine as well as lubricate the motor with motor lubricant (not machine oil). The manual you download should have the instructions. Your little beauty will purr like a kitten. Also, make sure you insert and thread your needle correctly.
Have fun - FWs are so cute!
