I like it just as you have it now. Add borders. If it really needs lots of extra, possibly use sashing.

Invert them all the way around would look great, like a finishing border.

add sashing and 4" border on sides ans 6-8" border top and bottom for a twin. Looks good as is.

Invert them and using them for a border all the way around is perfect!! I can't wait to see how you finish it!
