Where will you be staying? I might have to give you my number so we can meet even if it's just for a few minutes.

My sister and I are first timers heading to Paduka. Where do you recommend to park?

Where are you staying? If you are staying in town, the free trolley might run nearby. The trolley cars run all during the show and make the loop from Hancocks, to the main Convention, to the museum and Carson Park. They run every 15 minutes and if you are driving in from elsewhere, you can park out by Hancocks if you like. Big big field there. There is a charge to park on the Convention Center grounds, but it does get you right there. There is a municipal parking lot across from the Museum and it is free. Free parking along the streets, but it fills up quick. You can catch the free trolley just about anywhere and leave your car in one spot.

My friend and I are flying in on Tuesday and will be there all week. Hope the weather is good. Is there are bus that goes to Hancock Fabrics or is that close to the show area?
I have been once before many years ago so I am hoping this trip will be as nice. Everyone Enjoy the show!!!!!!

Hancock's is a couple miles away from the convention center, but the free trolley stops there every 15 minutes during the show. All the hotels will have a schedule and map of the stops, but you can pretty much go car-free if you want. There is Quilt TV on the public access TV station all week and Quilt Radio as well. If you drive in from another town, you can park once and use the trolley all day. (the trolleys are actually buses that look like old-fashioned trolleys)

Everyone stop by the MAQS table where the YoYo's are and purchase a $1 chance on the quilt they are raffling!

There will probably be a few vendors here and there around town that will be open on Sunday. The Museum will be open too. Everything at the Convention Center will be closed. Hancock's is normally closed on Sundays even during regular times. I would use Sunday to see the floodwall murals, drive the Dogwood Trail and maybe go to the Mall. (vendors set up in the Mall too)
