Congrats. I know it probably wasn't easy to get your offer to help accepted. I have the same problem with a relative.

I bet she was so happy to see it after all your hard work. Sometimes it's just too hard to tackle a project on your own & makes it so much easier if you have help. My hat is off to you for being so helpful to your Mom. That is awesome

An excellent book to help make it easier to get rid of clutter (unwanted and unused stuff):

Clutter's Last Stand by Don Aslett

I highly recommend it.

It feels so WONDERFUL when one can reclaim some space.

Congratulations! (Especially to your MOM!)

It was such a wonderful thing for you to do that for your mother. She should be very proud of you for doing that. I am sure you had things of your own to do. I know that kind of thing takes a lot of energy.
We are all proud of you!

Yeah, the sister thinks that being in Europe is an excuse to not help. Whatever :D I want to clean my old bedroom but I can't get it to because her (sister) stuff is there while she's in Prague. But she's back in June and her stuff goes and then I can clean out my room.

What inspired all this was "It's all too much" by Peter Walsh. I will definitely check out Clutter's Last Stand. Thank you!

That is great to see the difference. I need to help my mom get control of her stuff again.
