I help with fundraising for my QFK chapter and normally make the quilts from my stash only. That way I can be more creative since it's not a pre cut quilt.

I try to send Quilts For Kids at least two quilts every couple months. If you go to the Downey.com you can get a pre-cut quilt sent to you to make. You make it and then send it back with a second quilt, made from your stash.
Also you can make pillowcases - 1 million pillowcases.com - good way to use scraps - wild patterns and colors are welcome!

Why don't you try Quilts for Japan.com or Quilts of Valor.com. Nancy Notions also have some ideas. Just go to their web site.
There are a lot of places to go. Try tour local Hospice office. They give them to Nursing home patients.
Everyone really appreciates all things received.

I wasn't familiar with this group. I send mine to the Linus Blankets but will look into this one. Thanks

I am heavily invoved with our local Linus Chapter. It produces at least 600 quilts each month which we distribute to about 10 hospitals in Maryland. I usually procude between ten and twenty a month personally.

I have contributed three so far... one with their kit, plus an additional two from my stash. Great organization!

I have done about 8 and working on one right now. I usually send one along with the one they have sent me. I love working on quilts to give to other people I have done a few for Linus Project too.
