Can you post the rotation for your blocks? I'd love to try them too and am more than willing to learn from YOUR trial and error. :D

I think it looks really beautiful!! I'm like you though...it really bugs me when I can't get something "just right." After asking this board for help, they reminded me that nothing is perfect and of "humility" blocks. Helps put things in perspective, especially when you know the person you make it for will appreciate it--errors or not. My husband says I over think things and that an untrained eye won't notice things, especially when its all put together.
Of course, I still go back and forth with my seam ripper and at some point just have to throw the towel in and say that perfection will just have to come with time....

Love your blocks and don't see a problem. What is the name of the pattern. It looks a little beyond a beginner but maybe someday I would be able to do it.

I agree with the others. Perfect isn't necessary - enjoy what you do!

I love your version of the 10 minute block-sort of like the rail fence meets the 10 minute block. I love it! I made a Tennessee Waltz quilt and it bothered me that some of the seams didn't match the way i thought they should. Then I saw Quilt-in-a-day program and they showed one of E. Burns' quilt up close. Some of her seams looked like mine! I figured if she should show hers on TV, then i was Ok with it! we are our own worst critics.
