I'm peeking in from group 9. This is the perfect border for this center! I love it!

Ok, I'm going to try again.
Here is Lori's "Dancing Horses"

ooo... I didn't realize it was so blurry... I apologize for a poor picture...
It's already to go in the mail in the morning or I'd take a better pic.

Hopefully not to simple - it seems that there are alot of simple borders being added in this group where maybe a little more could be added. It gets costly shipping these centers around when only a plain border is added. But this is just my opinion and I have admired sooooooooooo many of the others where they put a little more on the borders.

Hope I didn't hurt anyones feeling.

Jessica.....I love the "extra pizazz" borders which I've seen too :) but sometimes the simple, elegant border is perfect for framing what has been done in the previous round. Everyone needs to feel good about the work they are adding to the centers and also remember we are all of varying degrees of experience and quilting generations. Add what you are comfortable quilting and please don't practice a technique which you are unfamiliar with during your round. Having said that, I am sitting back thinking to myself "when this is all over.....I'm going to own a quilt which has been worked on by some of the most experienced, talented quilters in the nation!!!" For those of you who can......I say "keep adding those magnificient borders" :) We also said at the beginning we wanted to feel free to tell each other what we would like to see (or not see) in our borders. I didn't mind your comment at all :)

Leota.....I just saw tonight what you added to my border. It has been a longggg stretch of 12hr shifts which means very little Quilting Board time for me :(
Thank you for posting a pic!!! I am loving how my center is looking :) I can't believe we are 1/2 way through already...Wow!
