Good evening everyone, I have had a wonderful Easter. I spent the day with DH & DS. So that meant no family fights, yippee! We have a big ole jar of jelly beans, and just for today I am allowing myself to have a couple every now and then. I am not eating handfuls at a time, and I am not feeling guilty about the few I do eat. And, just to top it all off, DH made potato plotski for dinner! So, I didn't have to cook and DS is in charge of dishes woohoo. Now this was not a diet friendly dinner, but that's okay too because I don't do this every week.
So my prayer for all of you is that you allow yourselves peace and happiness whenever and wherever possible. Find the joy because you deserve it!

Carrie I am sorry for your loss. My BIL commited suicide and it is something most of the family has never fully recovered from.

I have been out of work for almost 2 years. My DH has been out of work for over a year.
Today Easter Sunday we just got an e-mail that he is going to get a job offer tomorrow.
PLEASE pray that it comes through. We have been this far before but for some reason it falls through.
This one sounds like it will.
I will give you the good news tomorrow or Tuesday.
Happy Easter to all.
Now everyone take a giant deep breath and love each other.
You are all wonderful.
Tru you will not go away you hear me. We need you to keep us laughing.

I had a wonderful Easter. My husband forgot to invite his family until the last minute, but many came anyway. I ate to much, but I am not going to weight myself until next week or until I get lots of courage! I decided I was not going to worry about what I ate this week. I was going to enjoy my vacation with my husband and Easter with my children and grandchildren. This is what "normal" people do. I will just exercise it off in the next couple weeks.
I have to go back to work tomorrow. I work with children who have mental illnesses. So tomorrow will be like starting over with our routine. Plus, I get one or two new students starting tomorrow. Aghhhh!
I like the kids and the staff I work with so that is a positive. It's just some days are a bit more challenging than others.
I hope everyone who celebrated Easter or Pesach/Passover had a joyous time. (Although Passover ends tomorrow.) For all others I hope you had a great weekend!

Good morning, all. I hope you all made it through Easter without too much damage to your getting healthy plan. I did great at dinner, but did too much snacking last night at home. I will weigh myself later to see the damages.
I love Easter. I see it as a new beginning every year - sort of like a personal New Years's Day. My new beginning calls for doing more housework and reclaiming the space that clutter has taken over, so I'm off to get started. Where do I start?? The fat on my body is my body's clutter, so it can be part of the plan.
Thank you for a place to put this in print. It makes me real.
I AM eating right and becoming more healthy!!!!!
