Here's a whole block. There's a dozen of these to do and I did the first turn last night to complete the bottom part of this row.

Wish I could stay home and work on it but, I have a major project going on at work (unlike my major project at home!) and I can't.

Great beginning. It looks like you have the 'touch' for using your long arm. I can't remember - have you done feathers with your long arm on one of your previous quilts? Anyway - these look grrrrrrrrreat!

The combination of the browns and the quilting is very sophisticated but also warm and comforting at the same time. I've always loved browns and creams in quilts - don't see them often enough.

The first time I did feathers was on the last quilt, the no-diamond star.

Now that I have the Red Snappers it won't be so much work to just put a practice piece on the machine. I really need to practice and have a couple of old, kind of funky quilt tops that I got at a thrift store that I can work on.
