I would establish a program in elementary and High School where kids would learn to cook good food made from scratch, learn to make a budget and hoer skills you need in everyday life. I used to be a Home Economics teacher and I am horrified to see how children are educated without those skills.

Set up a trust for my daughters and granddaughter and not tell them about it. Pay off my DSD's student loans without her knowledge. Get health insurance. Expand the farm and take in more rescue horses, dogs and cats. Put new windows in the house to replace the 75+ year old ones and put in a new furnace so I can be warm all winter. Take my whole family on a vacation. I would travel all over the world to spend time with all my quilty friends I've met online and fly first class! Take quilting classes all over the place! Hire someone to clean the house and cook so I can have fun quilting.

I would also fund a program at the little school in town so all the kids with developmental disorders could be educated in life skills. And I would get to hire the teacher!!!

A great idea!
I would donate part of my windfall to setting up water wells in foreign countries where so many children are sick and dying from not having clean water to drink.

Open a textile mill in US, give homes to teens who have been neglected by their parents, visit Ireland, give generously to the Native Americans and buy a red sportscar.

I'd be telling a lie if I said I would donate elsewhere first. My family has done without for years...not done without what we think of as luxuries like cellphones and super fast internet, but done without necessities such as decent food, clothes, and medicine. I would make sure every friend and family member became debt free, then rebuild my house to make it safer in hurricanes and storms. At the very least I'd get my present house's electric fixed correctly. I'd finally be able to get to a doctor and find out what's wrong with me and set up trust funds and college money for my children. After we were taken care of I'd then donate big time to the schools in my county and also to St Judes Cancer hospital for kids.

Lou Gerhigs Disease for my son and millions of others facing this killer disease.

I would take in and care for the unwanted, abandoned, neglected & abused fur babies.
I'd pay to have my 85 year old neighbor's house painted! Dear sweet lady who'd do anything for anyone but won't let anyone do anything for her. My boyfriend and I are cooking up a plan to do it for her this summer. Wish us luck!

Next thing I'd do is ditto on taking care of fur babies!! That's on my wish list, and in my Will.
