Believe me piecemaker the views were absolutely amazing and looking back it was well worth the bumpy landing ...

Had to follow this thread - my hubby & I own a hot air balloon business - doing paid passenger flights - hubby has set 20 world records, flown over 4500 passengers, never had anybody hurt - flown in Russia, Austria, England and all over the USA - it's safer than most people think, and people afraid of heights that fly are happy they did it - not the same feelings at all! I have been collecting fabrics with hot air balloons on them for years - still haven't made a quilt with any of them - hate to cut them up!

I've only been up once...and I'd go again in a heartbeat! Hot air balloon rides are so calming!
    Great job on your quilt!
