Thanks so much for the information.

I might just contact you for more advice when I start working on it.

Feel free to contact. I took a class through my guild 2 years ago and got hooked. I belong to 2 bees and participate in a lot of block exchanges. I got tired that the quilts I made were being put together the same way. I love the process of arranging and re arranging my blocks to get a different quilt than the one the directions are for. But crazy quilting gave me complete freedom and being the only one in my groups that does this, mine are all unique. And what you do is never wrong. I will post a few of my blocks this evening. Don't hesitate to get started. It is so much fun and I repeat, what ever you do, it is always correct.

Hi MTS, this is my first crazy quilt block. Once I start embellishing, it is almost impossible to stop. "More is always better " to me. The hardest thing for me was the embroidery. I never liked to embroider and my knowledge of stitches....well, good thing there are books with good instructions. I also belong to a cq bee and Connie, head bee keeper is very well versed in making stitches. I tend to match colors and had to learn high contrast works much better on cq blocks. Though it is still a struggle. But I love making my blocks.

Thanks for all the encouragement! I'm still "chicken" and haven't tried my hand at any of this yet... Just love seeing the beautiful cq's others have made so far. Pretty quilts!
