The scrapbook is a wonderful idea to pass down to future generations - so much is lost when pictures don't have names and dates, etc. And that dress is just beautiful and I'll bet your grandmother was lovely in it.

It is beautiful! Think I was born in the wrong Era, sure wish they still made dresses like that to wear.

I was supposed to wear my tiny grandmothers wedding gown at my wedding. Problem was I am not tiny. So I carefully took off a bit of lace and a fabric flower and added it to my dress, along with a bit of my mothers gown too. Then my daughter added to her gown three pieces to hers. Hopefully as long as there are more girls in the family and the dresses have more pieces available the tradition will continue.:)
