I have the Brother Duetta 4500D, it is a great embroidery machine and has lots of designs on it and you can use the embroidery cards, usb port for attaching to your computer or a usb stick it comes with 4 hoops the largest is 7x11" you can also sew and quilt with it too. I have had mine for 4 years and have made several quilts with it and made baby quilts with the embroidery to. It is very easy to use.

I have Brother embroidery machines. I love the Innovis 1500d. Yes, the machine is pricey, but it can sew or embroider. And there is the extras which add up - thread, stabilizers (you will need different kinds), and special needles. You can make wonderful gifts by adding on just a special touch of embroidery.

I have the Brother 700 and the Design lite software so I can download designs. I have made a few embroidery quilts and love how it adds to the quilt. Here is one you can see
I love the way you embroideried the flowers on your quilt. Did you embroidery them before the quilt was quilted?

I love my Janome MemoryCraft 300E. It is a dedicated embroidery machine, that's all it does. Was about half the price of a Bernina combo machine. It's easy to use, no set-up to bother with and doesn't tie up your sewing machine. Embroidery takes a lot of time. With my Janome running I can keep an eye on it while doing other sewing.

I have a Bernina 180 and a 200. Absolutely love them both and the stitches are always pretty. It never hurts to go for the moon and the stars - request the 830! It's a beauty.
