I have lost my bent safety pins. I had a whole bunch of them, and the good ones aren't cheap! Maybe they are with your green fabric! lol

Please lock your doors. My DH must be sneaking in to hide your things, too. He gets up during the night, sneaks home from work and once he even came home from a business trip just to hide my things. Fabric, patterns, magazines, glasses, keys....and he says I am crazy! LOL

Did you put it away in the drawers with all you other clothes or sheets?

I think if you can buy some more.....it doesn't count as lost! Lost is when you lose fabric that is old enough to be unavailable no matter what you try....and of course, it's the ONLY fabric that will do for the quilt you're about to start!!!!

Seriously, I have some dark green solid---not sure now much---and I'll be glad to sell it to you really cheap if you need it. PM me and I'll measure it. Bought a bunch of solids for 3 coordinating quilts and hated making the first one so much that the rest of the fabrics are just sitting there together...

Thanks for the offer, but I was able to use some tone-on-tone green fabric. Thank you!

I lost a piece yesterday and cleaned my sewing room looking for it, with no luck, went to the store where I bought it and they had no more! So improvised with small pieces and piecing them to work for what I needed. After finishing the project, I found my fabric, folded nicely sitting on the end of the ironing board. :P

It's going to be in the last place your look. It's probably under something! I have the same problem!

Physically go replace it or try to replace it/buy somethingelse and it will reappear magically.

I lost my Passport. It was gone for months. I went to the PO, picked up the paperwork to start the process over. Stuck it between the seats in the car for the trip home and it slid down like half under the seat. When I reached to pull the paperwork out, my passport was there too. I swear I looked there four or five times.

I am so glad to hear other people talk like this. I misplace things all the time and get so irritated about it.
