I did a double Irish Chain for my step daughter for Christmas last year. I ordered my fabric from Connecting Threads and it was very good quality and beautiful!

If you like Moda, Red Rooter, or Marcus Bros fabric you will like CT fabrics. The quality is the same just not as many designs or colors. The fabric quality is changing in all the brand names because no one is paying the $15 a yard for the same quality you have become use to. I saw a lot of $15 - $27 a yard fabric at Paducah quilt show last week in the top of the line quilt shops vendor booth. They were never crowded. LOL.

I asked for and received a kit from CT for my birthday. It is in childrens fabric and the fabric is thin and the selvage is not tight at all. This is my first time buying from them so maybe I picked the wrong item.

I have bought a couple of kits from them and the fabric was okay, but not the high quality that I would expect because kits are a lot more expensive to buy than to buy separate cuts of fabrics, or at least they are to me.

I have ordered from Connecting threads and the fabric is awesome.
It comes turned inside out which is a plus for me and they seem to take great care in the shipping of the order. The fabric is top notch quality.

I have been very pleased with the fabric I have ordered from them. I am not real crazy about their thread. It is o.k. but leaves a lot of lint in the bobbin case area of my machine. You can order samples I think.
