How nice of you. Our daughter has a subaru and loves it, she was happy to get a car her graduation (used) but a subaru was not her first choice, she loves it now, a year later. Feels very safe in it with the all wheel drive. We are in a snow belt and get lots of snow. I would suggest a nice used car, it will keep her insurance payments down.

I have a 2006 Honda Accord for sale if interested and live in Northern Maine.
We bought our then 16 yr. son a Suzuki jeep type car and didn't bother to check for insurance first! Wow when the bill came. Boys pay more of course but we learned our lesson.

Toyota Prius is awesome...great gas! But GS just now has an 1989 Ford f150, which i felt was safer for him as it's bigger whereas my step daughter had a Honda Civic, with good mileage for her while in College & no problem with it all the time she had it for 5 yrs ...hope u find what she needs.

My daughter saved as she said (her whole life at 15) to buy a Mustang. She loves the car but cant say her dad and I do!!! Our second daughter looked at a Kia Forte 4 door lots of safety stuff, also she likes a VW jetta this may be the one she picks because of safety, gas mileage and insurance. I really want to get her the biggest thing on the market!!!! for safety(the roadways are getting bad in our area)I know it sounds silly but now youngest daughter looks at the lenght of the hood, she was in accident, passenger only. Police officer said the long hood may helped save them from sevier harm.

We bought our son a Ford Ranger. It was 4WD (we get snow here) and did not have a back seat, just a pickup. But there was a space behind the seat for storage, like his golf clubs and such.
I liked the fac that there was no back seat, less distractions when driving

I would suggest the Pris, gotta consider the price of fuel. My best friend & her husband each have one and they
bought one for their oldest daughter. I love to ride in it and it has lots of room to haul just about anything.

I love my Honda. Will buy another one when it's time. Mine is 9 years old and only thing we have done is put new tires on it. I think it's the best car for the money.

We gave our girls a hugh old car (they called it a tank) and for thier safty, they had to pay for repairs.
and a new car if they had an accident. The best insurance you can get , they couldn`t afford, repairs or a new car. They were the best drivers.
