THAT's your ugliest block? Sheez, you must have some gorgeous blocks, if that's the best you can do for "ugly". <G> Show us some of your other blocks! :)

Like the Ugly Duckling, it became a beautiful swan. Gorgeous block.

Whoa, there is nothing ugly about this block. I want to make an entire quilt with it....it is gorgeous. I think the fabrics are elegant and I love the block. Oh, now I am going to be dreaming about this block and finding the fabric for it. Now see what you did.....LOL

Is there a pattern for it or did you just cut it on an angle yourself?

After finishing my D4P patch I took my 9 1/2 inch square ruler and marked the center of it. Then I put the center of the ruler on the center of the square and carefully rotated the ruler making sure the 2 centers stayed lined up. Then I took my rotary cutter and cut all the way around the square ruler. I actually wasn't sure I was going to like it tilted like that...but I was pleasantly surprised at the results! Thanks for asking!
Thanks!! One other question, before I try it. What size were the blocks that you made your 4 patch from?

If that is the ugliest fabric in your stash, you must have a nice stash.

It turned into a swan!!! Isn't it amazing what you can do to a fabric when you combine it with something else?
