Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for all the compliments. I love making this bag. Everyone of them is so special. It's especially wonderful that other quilters love my bags. It means so much to me when a fellow quilter entrusts me in making them a bag. I truly appreciate it..

Many of you have asked about the the pattern used.

I made up my own pattern after seeing one in a quilt store, they were out of the pattern and didn't know when they would be in (new sales girl and she didn't even know the name of the pattern). I wanted to make one for my daughter Andrea's b'day.
I couldn't wait for a pattern so I went home and worked out my own pattern, many samples were made until I got it the way I wanted it.

I have many members ask me about a pattern and I always recommend:

Penny Sturgus' Quilts Illustrated Bow Tuck Tote pattern.

She writes marvelous directions/pattern, my friend bought it and I looked it over and had wished I had had it to start with (would have saved alot of time and muslin). Oh, well!

Get that pattern it is great. Ask your LQS to order it for you, you won't regret it.
thanks for asking and have fun making one for yourself.
Take care and happy stitching
Denise
