The birds made just wonderful blocks. I have some of that fabric and may try the same.

I am a fairly new quilter and have just done a 4 patch posey no pattern just instrucions from a store clerk in fabrics at Hobby Lobby telling me how to do. It is turning out pretty good. I bought some on sale fabric so in case I wasn't successful it would not be a big loss.
