I love this line, although I do agree the reds seem out of place. I've been wanting to make a sage/lavender quilt for a long time, these look like fabrics I could use!

I LOVE lilacs. However, I agree with you that sometimes the colors are... different. I would prefer brighter colors, less muted. Actually, though I don't really like the brick, it does actually seem to work... IF I were going to buy, I would definited lean toward the light purple background or off white background with the large lilacs.

Oh - I've got to have some of that. Lilacs are and have always been my favorite flower.

I don't care for the lilacs with the red, but the other reds are ok. The rest of the colors are great! (I looove lilacs, btw!)

I love this line! Midwest girls who love their lilacs will be wild about these prints! They are so authentic to what lilacs really look like! You almost expect the fabric to smell like lilacs!! The designers did a beautiful job of making accompanying fabrics in the line. Several have mentioned that they don't like the reds, but using the reds as the primary color with the other colors as the secondary colors will be beautiful. I don't think all the fabrics in the line have to necessarily be used together. I love the variety and the selection in this line.

And although I think the plaids are a little less formal than the other prints, they look beautiful in the patterns that they have featured with the line. I think the line is very in keeping with how Brannock and Patek design - very country with some pretty thrown in too! Good work ladies!

I've already designed a quilt and can't wait to make it!

Many of you are saying that you are not liking the red... if you take a look at Jan Pateks site and see the quilts she has put together with her line here, you will see the way rhe red and plaids work so nice into the patterns.... stunning to me... I actually have purple and reds in my own home decor....
    and do get compliments....

I don't understand the red either. Lilacs in Wisconsin are all set against a blue sky.

I don't care for the red with the lilac, or for the plaids. The brown is okay, but I don't really see how it fits with the rest. But I love the lilacs and accompanying prints.
