I had lost the thread until I got the PM. I will be there and will probably bring a hot chicken salad or would you rather have a veggie tray? How many (#) do we have so far. I have been out of town until today so am a little behind in reading the posts.

Dakota Rose, I'm coming up with 20 positives and probablies. I think the hot chicken salad would be super, we have only 2 other main dishes. Thanks and looking forward to meeting you.

I can bring Watergate salad OR a pasta salad with tuna. Let me know which you want.

Quiltmaker52, I'm not familiar with the Watergate salad, but I was already going to do the pasta/tuna salad, however I could probably be talked out of it and find something else to do.... ;-)

My forte has always been dessert, imagine that...how about you do the pasta salad and I will do dessert and bring crackers and cheese so we can munch all afternoon, sound like a plan?

What a fun time y'all will have on the 29th! I wish I could join in for the inaugural gathering, but that won't be possible this time. I look forward to watching for future dates. If I ever have the opportunity to come, I would be happy to help teach. I have taught several classes here in Augusta, including the Dear Jane class, and have made the Stack 'n Whack, so I would be happy to help get folks started. Until then, enjoy each other, laugh a lot, and eat chocolate!

Hey GAgal,
I live in Macon. I am not sure if I will be able to attend yet but I will let you know. I have been to Intown Quilters and they were very nice. I belong to Patchwork Pals Quilting Guild in Macon. I was suppose to be there tonight but could not drive due to medication had to take for headache earlier.
Too Funny! I am a member of Patchwork Pals, too! I don't know if I will be able to go but would love to work out a carpool.

Pasta salad with tuna is it, then. FYI, Watergate salad is made with pineapple, marshmallows, walnuts, pistachio pudding, coolwhip. Yummy!

Hi there, just got back from a two week road trip, so just got to read this post. Wow, this sounds like a fun idea. I love doing D9P blocks if that might be of interest to anyone else. I design 95% of my quilts. I am the one painting the shoes for my next quilt. hmmm, I think my shoe quilt will be done and gone by then, but I'll bring whatever other interesting projects I might be doing. I too have a nice FW from 1938 in immaculate condition. It was a recent gift from a friend moving to Germany. I will give you a probably for my answer and I will bring something sweet. I've never been to Intown. I had Taffy McLaughlin speak at our April guild meeting in Grayson, GA. She teaches there and is awesome! Will the place be open to the public? Will we have a sort of private spot, or will we be mixed in with the purchasing public while they are shopping?
