Thank you for all you do, Teachers! Enjoy your summer!

DD is a choir teacher and she's been counting down since last August. ;-) She's really stressed right now with a musical production premiering in just a few days. Had Mom (me) stressing over sewing a costume. Hoping it all turns out well for her.

This is the first time in 40 years that I have not had to count down the days. I was a school librarian and always was faced with doing inventory in the last days of school. Now I'm retired and am enjoying taking care of my grandson 2 days a week. What an awesome opportunity for me. Wish my daughter could have had the same care from a grandma when she was growing up.I can recommend retirement for everyone!

I just discovered last week that Joanne fabrics has a 15% discount card for teachers! Do others know about this? The discount is good for both regular and sale prices and can be added to other coupons.

I'm not a teacher but work in the library/media center. We have 18 days. We are closing one of our elementary buildings at the end of this school year. The fifth grade will move into the middle school where I work, and preschool- fourth will be in the other elementary. A lot of changes are coming and I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a lot of work moving part of the elementary library to my building, but we need lower level books brought in for the younger students coming.

It's fun to read about when different parts of the country get out! Hope you all don't have to work too hard over the summer and can get some serious sewing in. I have a mini graduate class in July and am going to sit on my hands when they have people sign up for extra summer curriculum work. I've done it for a while and lately, regret it.

This Bus Driver has 9 days, count 'em, 9 days and yes I am counting. Had a rough year this year when our school burnt to the ground. Glad I work for a wonderful district and we have pulled through. Looking forward to next year when the new building get started and hopefully FINISHED!
