Dawn, what a lovely job on this quilt. I did this one as my first quilt - also with fusible machine applique. I'm glad so many people commented on the border. For me, that was the most challenging part! I want to do Lori's "Grandma's Kitchen" with it's old MixMaster and colorful canisters.

DawnMarie,

You did an extraordinary job on this quilt themed quilt.

It is sew cute and it shows all of your multi-talents.

By the way, since you have to leave it at work for a year, I would like to propose a raise for your extra curricular activites outside of work for work ;) !!!!

I have to agree. I went to retreat expecting to finish making all of the pieced blocks and quilting the quilt before I left. That didn't happen. The block that I dreaded the most was the Milky Way block. Who puts 68 pieces into a 6 inch block? lol I still love it. :)

I love the originality of the quilt. Is it your design? I wish I had the patience to do one like that. Keep quilting!
