Goods is remodeling (next to Shady Maple) but I just got Bonnie Blue and other brand name fabric for $2.49 yd. in flat folds. Also Zooks had some of the same fabric for $2.59. Zooks usually have a truck load sale when the big quilt shows are in Lancaster. BTW, the yellow map has the hotels on too.

Making me homesick too as I am from Lancaster. No one here eats scrapple or talks about it without making a face or red beet eggs either for that matter.
Good Grief!!! Never heard anyone else talk about red beet eggs!!! We made some for the neighbors here once, and they turned up their noses at the color. Evidently they didn't know what they were missing. The pickled eggs they have here are just vinegar and maybe some mustard seed to color the liquid a bit...they look rather "pukey" to me. We never called it scrapple, it was always panhaus (pronounced pawn-hoss). They turn up their noses at that too...too bad for them! I remember "I WANT MY MAYPO" too...that's too funny!

I'm living 90 minutes from Lancaster. It surely is a special place.

You can have shoofly pie from Dutch Haven with a few clicks and a few bucks. >>http://www.dutchhaven.com/

I like Wilbur buds too, the little chocolates made in Lititz. Also avaliable online>>

Ain't the internet grand? LOL!
Yeah, but it's wayyy better fresh and warm with vanilla ice cream on top!!! And you haven't lived until you've had a custard filled, chocolate covered doughnut from Achenbach's Bakery!!! THEY ARE TO DIE FOR!!!
