Thanks Mr. Bill. They only removed it completely from one store in Macon. That will be great. I hardly ever go to that store anymore although it is closer because they don't have fabric.

Our WalMart has always had a fabric dept., granted not a very good one, but they had one. They just finised re-designing our local super walmart and the fabric dept is a little more user friendly. Now I think it is more of an employee issue than a what they carry. Thier instocks still need some improvement but it is nice to know that things are getting better

I spoke to a regional manager here in Wisconsin. I was told that the older stores will be "retro-fitted" with the fabric departments that went out (in some stores). In the newer stores (he said built in the last 2-3 years) they will not have fabric. I hope you are right as we have a newer one by us. Thanks for the info.

I called both Walmart stores in Canton, MI. The older one is not getting fabric back and the new one didn't have it and won't have it. I'm bummed.
