I have two--a 1950 and a 1955. And I got the card table later. I paid $350 for the first one at an antique show. Later I found the 1950 at a garage sale for $25! She's in being tuned up right now. I love doing piecing on my FW. You just can't beat the FW straight stitch. There is a 1/4' foot that you can get to fit it. Also, at first I couldn't find a manual and bought the book "Featherweight 221: The Perfect Portable". It has a great history of the machine and reproduces the complete manual in it. My two are named Edna Pearl and Anna Marie.

I just got my 221 a month or so ago and love it. I picked up a walking foot and a 1/4" foot at the AQS show in Paducah KY last month. It may well replace my Brother Innovis for piecing. It came inthe origonal case with a load of attachments, and the origional instruction book....watch me go!

I just joined the club!! I bought one off ebay, and it arrived a week ago. Sadly, the seller heavily sprayed Febreeze in the case, and the stinky smell has saturated everything! Am not happy about that!
But she is ready to sew, and does she purr! I have decided to name her Belle~ since she's a little beauty!

My DD just pick up my first one from Craig's list in the ATL about two weeks ago for me. I seen my first FW six or seven years ago at a sewing group and fell in love then. I've been searching ever since. At last I got one.
