We are making a fabric envelope to put on the back of the quilt. In it will be,on printed fabric, copies of her pictures making quilt and a letter to her teacher. She really liked her teacher last year.Helped with a rough time in her life .

What a sweetheart! Once they make up their minds they are giving someone something, it is very hard to change those minds. She is just precious and so is her kitten.

The pictures are so cute, you should make sure the teacher also gets a story-board of how this quilt was made.

How wonderful of you to teach your granddaughter and what a sweet thing to do by giving away her first quilt. My grand-daughter was about 5 when we started a quilt. It was to be a gift for her baby sister or brother, but we never finished it as her Mom miscarried and we just put it away.
