To Jan in VA, Amen to your heartfelt prayer. I saw the devastation on our evening news here in Adelaide Sth Australia, and felt extremely upset. Perhaps it is that we have had family members and friends involved in the fires and floods here in Aust, and earthquakes in New Zealand. There have been so many disasters in the world in the past twelve months. I hope Miss Ruthie and Valsma hear from their families soon, my thoughts go to all involved. (my internet has been out most of day, it is now 10.15pm here), love to all, Jen

We live only 20 mi.from Joplin. We had no damage, but have watched the local station for any news updates.
They are just doing search and rescue now. I am sure if you contact the Police that they will take the info. on your sister and contact you as to her findings.
We are Praying for the entire area, as Joplin is/was a major trade territory, and many people from our town go to the dr. there.
The Red Cross, as someone suggested, no doubt can also help you in locating your sister.
Prayers.
Mariah.
