6. I sew with an extra spool filling bobbins as I go. So sewing away next thing I know the fly wheel isn't turning oh my god the thread for the bobbin jumped off and had been filling the fly wheel and of course it wasn't one of my old machines but my mothers elna. I spent years cutting and picking out thread with tweezers and seam ripper! And yes as thread was removed it would sew. When I finally got all the thread out I discovered I wasn't the only one to have done that. I was sewing with black thread but once the black was gone there was light blue and white!

to add to the late night ban - I had to make sure I am NOT watching a football game in the fall - it seems to mess with my concentration too much so I end up sewing everything wrong and don't notice it until the next day - and needless to say I hate to rip out seams!

I relate to all that! I don't even try to sew after supper anymore unless on deadline. Some really odd things happen during the daylight hours too! My seam ripper is my friend.

I can relate. I've finally realized when my back starts hurting & Mr. frustration sets in - to STOP! Cause Mr. Stupid wins every time.

I'm with you all the way. It sure seems like I have to do a lot of unsewing the morning after I sew that late.

Too funny. Thanks for sharing. All the above happens to me when I sew after 3 A.M.

I know the feeling. Once I make three mistakes is when I stop sewing for the day/night.
