I know what you mean. It kind of irritates me when they clean out the whole shelf of product and get like 93 boxes of croutons for free. Really, are they going to use all those croutons or is it just because they're free?

Couponing can save money but like anything it can be abused.

I am on a very set very limited income. I am just starting my extreme couponing but I am saving so I can afford more of the necessities and not so nessesary but nice things we like to use. Otherwise I make do on just what my income can afford. Extreme couponing as seen on tv is good if your using a donation system for helping people in need otherwise why would you need years supply of somewthing, especially when you know that you can always get more next time coupons come out. I will aim for a one year supply and then if it is a real bargain donate to abuse womens and childrens shelters.

No stock piling here.
When I can get free things I will be donating them to our church food pantry.
Walgreens are asking that you don't abuse the couponing, emptying the shelves. Thats not my style.
My daughter got me started a month ago. I have saved around $200 a month.
Just need to get a better selection of coupons.

only one manufacturer coupon per item.do you have kroger there?Check with the manager there to see their coupon policy.I work for a store that is in the kroger family of stores and like I explained earlier about using a walgreens store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for the same item will work if allowed there but ask the manager

Our stores won't take more than 1 coupon per item. Our stores do not triple coupon. Almost all the coupons I get are for stuff I don't use or food products I don't eat. Some of our stores won't accept computer-generated coupons. Almost all coupons expire within several weeks, so how can you gather up enough to buy 60 jars of mustard? Why would you even want to? Why would anyone in their right mind buy 40 tubes of toothpaste or clear the shelves of deodorant? One of those shows had a gal that bought like 100 packages of diapers and she didn't even have any children but one day she might! How can a person in good conscience clear the store shelves of a product only to add to the 3 rooms of food she already has? Don't their families eat fresh fruits, veggies, meat, poultry, fish, etc? There are no coupons for those foods, but they never say how much they spend on those things every week. If these couponers are donating food, that's another whole thing and I think it's great. But when you are storing food items in the basement, the garage, under your children's beds, on special shelves in the master bedroom, I don't think they are donating anything. It is nothing but hoarding for hoarding's sake and I think it is disgusting.

Using coupons for what you "use" is great my DW and myself do it. but there are a lot of thing we do eat or use. and that is where coupons are useless to us. one of the local stores has a coupon box as you come in the store, great idea.

Couponing allows me to stay at home during the summer with my kids (school bus driver). I aim at having a 6 month supply of anything with expiration dates and one year on toiletries and paper goods.

If I see a deal on something that I am stocked on really cheap, I get it for SIL, Dad, or Daughter. Other than that I sell the coupons I don't/won't use on Ebay to pay for my papers.

Works good for me and hopefully it will continue too.

Sheila
