When I pull up at my son's house & my 4 yr old g-dtr runs across the yd. yelling "fitten G-ma is here, fitten-Gma is here". That's me. Fishin grandma. Then she jumps into my arms. That sure makes this grandma's heart beat faster with love. She & her bro. fish at my house.

Waking up on a cool morning covered with a quilt, rolling over to doze a few more minutes all snuggled in. (I love retirement)

The 1st cup of coffee on the deck right at sunrise. It's the best time for the smell of the flowers, dew on the grass and the birds just starting to sing. The first prayer of the day.

Having my dgd put her arms up to have me pick her up and when I do she snuggles into my neck and just stays there for me to enjoy. Or when she falls asleep on my shoulder all snuggled up and having that sweet baby smell. Listening to her belly laugh when her Daddy does something that she thinks is really funny. Can't get enough of it

Having thae chocolate bar I hid in the cabinet still there when I had a craving and soo glad no one found it and ate it. I also am happy when a new roll appears on the holder especially with the paper going the right way.
