Happy anniversary - she is a beauty. I just bought one and I love how she stitches and quiet. What is her date of birth and name?

I have only been reading the thoughts and stories on this site for a short period of time. Enjoy them very much. I hate to show my ignorance but I see so many of you are sewing on vintage machines and are so excited about featherweights. Please help me understand why these older machines are so desireable. Thanks Barbara in Oregon
