When I listed my "what makes me happy" earlier, I forgot to mention watching the sunset at the beach, feeding seagulls, playing in the water in Gulf of Mexico, looking at lighthouses, playing on the computer, looking at travel sites that I would love to go to, reading email from friends and family, and getting a good nite's sleep, which won't be tonite as it is some bad weather coming in. Pray for us.

Being greeted by our cockatiel with her saying Pretty Girl Pretty Girl -her beg for me to come talk to her. She gets excited when I come home.

Holding him and looking down into the face of my 5 mo old DGS Colton.

Listening to my grands play. all the hugs and laughter my grands bring to my life.

A hot cup of sweet green tea. Brings back memories of my grandpa who made it for me every time I stayed with them.

When our 6-yr-old great-niece puts her arms around my neck and says, "I love you, Aunt Deb"! even in public.

What a wonderful thread! I have many 'smell the roses' times.
Recently I've been cleaning, decluttering and rearranging my rooms. So I'd have to say my 'newest rose' is walking into a clean room with a smile.
