All your blocks are lovely. Probably blue is my fav. Stained glass - real glass, fabric or another media - is also a fav of mine. Looks great. Thanks for sharing.

those polka dots sure make those crazies POP!
the stained glass on the LIGHT blue bkgd is pretty!
do you add the black after you have them together? OR as you go along?

Thanks everyone! Now we are all hooked on that pretty stained glass one! I sure am and can't wait to do more maybe in mini size first. Yes, those polka dots were needed to frame the crazies (ha) and make them pop and it sure worked! Hope others can see how this needed to be done and you'll 'frame' those things that need it!

Yes, I love the bkgd piece on that lt. blue also! It caused it to pop!

The best process for the stained glass was to arrange your scraps the way you wanted them to lay in your block and then do the leading piece-by-piece, then join your 3 sections together or your 2 sections. I did it this way by time I got to my 3rd block, I had the process down pat. The first two blocks it seemed like I wasted fabric with a lot of leaded pieces left over so I abandoned that way.

Another fast way is to just grab 2 different blues and put the leading between them. Repeat until you have a nice stack of pairs joined. Then lay them out to form a square, shaving the sides where needed.

I think I timed myself for 25 min. for one block which is not too bad. Both of these methods should go fast for you though. We all can't wait to see more and do more of the Stained Glass! Thank you, just-the-scraps-m'am!! :-D :-D
