Welcome to the board from Washington, USA. I think you will enjoy it here; there is a great group of people here. You do not need to worry about your English here.

Welcome also to Shoshanna and Janelle.

    Hi there everyone
I find that fabric here in the UK is also very expensive. Also there are not very many specialist shops and when you do find them they are miles away and expensive.
Shopping on line is great but sometimes colors and pattern size differs when you actually receive the fabrics.
Would anyone like to swap FQs in the future.

    Shoshanna

I also buy my fabrics in US. It is much to expensive i Europe. Donīt you have problems with EU custom and taxes?
Some of the stores in US are specialized in sending 10 yards in a flat rate envelope :D :D :D Thatīs christmas.
Cotton Patch in UK are also at least cheeper. Here you donīt have problems with import.
I buy my books in Germany (Amazon) . Same reason.
Iīm looking forward to see, what you are dooing.

    i am a great shopper :)
i have to pay 20 % on fabrics, less for books and magazines.
but books and magazines very often arrive safe at home without any further tax.
