I am a License Hairstylist and green/ash is suppose to tone down the red that my hair seems to turn to anytime I highlight my hair...

Ash alone will turn your hair green not red....

I've been doing my own for years. I foil mine with redken platinum. I have a three way mirror in my bathroom and I just fold them around me and go to town. Part it and section it just like you would for a client, but do the back FIRST, because it will take you a little longer than doing someone elses hair.

i usually do my own with no problems. however, i did it last week for a job interview. the morning of the interview. got the same box i always get. a light ash brown. my guess is it was either old or the wrong bottle got in the box. it was a blobby red, burgandy even. i went on to the interview, did alot of praying. they didn't even act like they noticed, and they called me today. i got the job.

ok remember this ash is a grayish color sort of greenish Redis opposite thaton the color wheel so you should use a redish base and you can do it with an old fashion soap cap which is a batch of color and perioxude equal parts with equal parts of shampoo and wash is with that and wait and sort of test itl I think 15 to 20 minutes would be enough Just check that color wheel the someone you use for quilting or painting also you can run up to sallys supply and get some advise from them,..Good luvk
