Redkimba, I'm definitely dating myself here, and you probably won't know what I'm talking about, but Tom Selleck was my Coppertone pin up guy hanging in my high school locker! (anyone else remember this? It was Coppertone, right?)

I'm not a fan of his. He's never appealed to me. Sorry.
I think if you like Tom Selleck's and Sam Elliot's style, you probably don't care for Kevin Cosner's style. It's just not the same.

I think that women stars are not supposed to ever get old or lose that youthful beauty, whereas male actors can get all wrinkled and craggy faced or whatever, and they are still admired. They can have beautiful young leading ladies with steamy romantic scenes, but it's rare when it's the other way around with the female lead being the older one.
So the older women have tons of plastic and starve themselves to stay thin to keep looking young, while the men just go their merry ways not worrying too much about plastic surgery or much of anything. It's a double standard that will never end. Just look at the woman who was Sellack's girlfriend in the very beginning of the series. She wasn't a kid, but she was youthful and beautiful. Then look at Tom Sellack, he has wrinkles and a saggy neck and to us he's as gorgeous as ever. 8-)
