Hey Deb ... Any chance of another Sunbonnet Sue swap? A bunch of random Sues (and perhaps her guy friend) would make such a cute quilt. :)

Last year's Calendar Sue swap: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-32584-1.htm

Maybe just random, though, instead of one for each month?

Or maybe a naughty Sue swap! That skinny dipping Sue totally cracked me up ... pun intended!

Yeah, I,ve got my 12 blocks done and will ship to you. Send me a PM with the address to send them to.
It's Saturday and I am starting my fall blocks. Picking out the fabrics and using a cream muslin background.
Onward and Upward......

you don't need to struggle with that scant 1/4 because you can accountant for it in cutting your fabric which is much easier and you end up with a true 1/4 inch seam.

when cutting your fabric just add in about 3 threads extra into the cut for example if you need 2 1/2 inches cut 2 1/2 inches plus 3 threads.

then sew a true 1/4 and you'll end up measurements as if you had sewn a scant 1/4.

also if you can ever get your hands on a vintage singer piecing foot that will give you a true scant 1/4.

i have many vintage singers and the foot fits my brand new juki F600 and it works great.

most of the time i don't sew with a scant 1/4 i prefer to put it in my cutting.
Is that for all the patterns on quilters cache or just this pattern?

i pretty much do it with every thing i make.

I started cutting out my fall blocks and put one togther. I will post a picture tomorrow, I think I don't like the pumpkin color pieces for the main 8 plate strips. I think it too much Orange.
I am going to cut a different 8 piece and try another color.
See on the board tomorrow

My blocks are done and going in the mail on Tuesday. I'm going to finish up a couple of other things before I start my fall ones.
