Yes it is the Bali Star in Hoffman 1895 batiks and bali's. I am in the middle of a king. My advice is to do a runner.

You need LOTS of room because the king is 3000 pieces. LOTS of patience. Curved piecing skills.

It was on my bucket list. Was supposed to be done for my 25th wedding anniversary. Well that happened in December so I am hoping to have it done by my 26th.

How can people "not" balance their checkbooks? That is a major irritation with my daughter. She never balances hers.

That would have definitely have driven me crazy - I check my balance 4x a week just so there are no surprises. So glad you are now actually ahead on some things.

Thanks for the notes...I actually was thinking I would start with the runner and see how that goes...good luck meeting your next deadline.

Lucky but not insane. Sounds like you've had some bad times. Unfortunately, when we're down, we look for something to brighten our day. And buying something fills the need. Think about that next time you're out and about.

Hmm maybe I should double check my checkbook... I have been on alot of pain pills and paying alot of bills... :wink: :wink: :roll: lol.. Glad you got yours all straightened out. I dont think mine is going to be as forgiving as yours was tho. lol
