How to Downsize your Magazines

I've done that for a long time. My problem is there are too many patterns I save. I must have 9-10 binders full and another stack of magazines to go through. Even though they are semi-organized I still have trouble find a specific pattern. But they are fun to just look through and dream.

I am trying to get more organized and all the ideas are on the same path I have chosen. At one of my guild meetings, we bring magazines, fabric or whatever you are interested in parting with, to the meeting and its a free giveaway. Not only did you clean out your house, you recycled it for someone else who may find different inspiration.

I thought you was going to do waht a neighbor did here. She copyed what she wanted to keep and then sold the mags and book on Mountain something on the internet..'
Boy would be so hard to tear the mags...I have mags from the 70, 80 and 90's
SO would take forever to go through all those.

I scan the patterns that I like, and keep them in a folder on my computer and iPad2. I love doing it this way. My iPad2 goes wherever I go so if I happen to be in a quilting store and find some fabric that I love, I have all my patterns with me.
Works great for me!
