Welcome from Il.
Sorry to tell you that you now have a terminal addition. The only difference is that we make beautiful & useful quilts, etc.
Have you been on a shop hop yet? If not plan on the ones in the fall, but you will have to take alot of $$$.
Where are you in Il.? I from about 30 miles west of Chicago.
There also is a bus trip shop hop this fall that goes up into Wis.

Hi Deb, Nope, there's no known cure. But why would you want one? Just enjoy the ride. We're all here to help you through the difficult times. And just think, someday, you'll be able to return the favor by mentoring another new "quiltaholic"

I agree with all the statements offered here, and I really enjoy my quilting. you didn't mention your age(this sometimes makes a difference) or if you have a DH . My theory is that we shouldn't let anything we do take complete control of our lives. Enjoy as long as you don't shortchange your family or spend more than you can afford. Welcome to the board. you are in good company.

Oh it's an addiction. But such a pleasant one. Doesn't harm anyone, except when the piles of fabric threaten to fall on someone. And you get to make such beautiful things - no hallucinations - the beauty is real. Enjoy!
