Use Noxzema for now, that will cool some of the burn.
Please test the noxema on a small spot first. Guess how I found out I'm allergic to noxema? Lobster AND hives should be avoided!

Plain unflavored youghurt will give remarkable results.
Just slather it on as you need it. A little carton goes a long way.
I used to live on St Croix and it worked wonders healing the sun broiled scandinavian tourists.
If nothing else, try rubbing it with plain milk, Somehow the protein in the milk seems to help the burned skin.

Apply BUTTERMILK to your burn! I am really surprised the vinegar didn't work

the best thing to use is red wine vinegar. Don't dilute it and put yourself in a tub, naked, and pour it over the burned areas. Works wonders. You won't peel or anything. Don't use any lotions, it seems to make things worse.

cool ideas but what about both sunburn & windburn as I experienced this past weekend rock hounding ? LOL my poor mother-in-law about had a stroke when she got up Sunday and saw how red I was (I used to be a red-head with fair skin!LOL still have the fair skin but the old auburn red locks have turned silver & grey !LOL)

Oh and I had suntan lotion on and lots to drink as well .. LOL we were above 10,000 feet !
