I'd be on that like white on rice....

I want a parlor cabinet so bad I can taste it!! This one tho, if you enlarge the photo looks like it has some cosmetic issues...Most likely nothing that can't be fixed tho.

The prices are a little high and I'd especially be a little leary of the electric one because of the swing away motor. You can't get the rubber tire that goes on the wheel on it. I have one with the same motor and have tried.
Let us know what you decide.

Since your trading I'd do both! But I love the old machines. As for the needles Billy (lostn51) can usually point you in the right direction. Also as for cleaning if you search vintage cleaning from the search link his tutorials will pop up.

Good Luck and take picks when you get them home!

Remember also that you can use panty hose as a belt for your treadle machines. I have panty hose on mine and find it very easy to adjust when needed.
I use my treadle daily in preference to all of my other electric machines. It sews beautifully and I enjoy the control I have as it sews slower than the electrics.
Good luck with what you decide and do enjoy them.
