Good Morning everyone

The girls and I are all fighting a cold. I'm guessing it's because we got stuck in a downpour in Chicago last weekend. I do get my car back tomorrow! We're supposed to hang with my sister and my other niece for the day.

Exercise was okay...didn't feel like doing much on the machines, but I did do a lot of hauling and breaking bricks.

Water was good like normal.

Food was okay, think. I really don't remember what I ate...no junk food at least.

Leann, 14 pounds and a dress size is a winner in anyone's book.

Newbies: Any weight loss is great and I'm never sure if we should be striving to lose more than 2 pounds a week. For those of us who have ever attended Weight Watchers, remember the first week for new members when 7 pounds wasn't unusual, then the next week, it was 1 1/2 or 2 on the same food plan. I also remember cutting off my long hair and wearing nothing but a sundress for the final weigh in because my goal weight was unrealistic. Live and learn.

MJ, you didn't hear from me because my weight loss was 0. I lost the weight I gained on the steroids, but only back to the May starting point. I expect better from me this month. 5 pounds, Xylie?? Help!
Thank you so much! It was a long hard road at times but I did it and am so thankful I did. I did not realize how miserable and disabled I was weighing 475.5 pounds. I could have been on one of those programs talking about morbidly obese people.

I feel like a new person even though I am under 400 pounds. I am taking each pound and each inch lost as a victory. As I shouted down the hallway into the operating room "WOOOHOOOOO I DID IT!! I DID IT!!" The doctors and the nurses were laughing so hard and each one of them gave me a hug and a congrats just before they put me to sleep. LOL!!!

I am going to talk to the surgeon on Monday when I go for my check-up to see what he thinks is a reasonable goal weight. I was told that I would have around 40+ pounds of lose skin that will have to be removed after I get down to that weight. I already am excited about the prospect of having a flat stomach for the very first time in my life. Oh how happy that day will be!

Anyway...sorry for writing another novel here. You guys are awesome!

Missy

I'm not that confident, but somehow I have to get myself going. And I had a good start. I'd actually be quite happy if I'd have lost 8 to 10 pounds by the end of June. That would be great.

I've been getting very frustrated! I know it's my own fault and that I'm probably ddoig it to myself, but I've been stuck at a platue for a month now! While my husband was deployed I had dropped 10 lbs. Now I'm fluctuating between 8 to 12 lbs! It's driving me nuts! I'll show a 2 lb weight loss then 3 lbs gain, then 2 lbs loss and then 1 lbs gain, all staying right above to right below my 10 lbs drop! I need to start tracking all of my calories I eat.

Was also wondering how you guys all plan your meals out? do you do it for the whole week or just one meal at a time? I need to change something and would love to hear what others are doing!

Good morning!

I try to plan one day at a time.

Journal:
I am not where I want to be, but I am healthier than yesterday.

Motivation:
What exercise can I do today, regardless of the heat?
Do it!

Still borrowing a limping computer.
Everybody stay on track! Today is a new day, don't look back at yesterday, it's gone. Don't look to tomorrow, it's not here yet.
Focus on Today for the Present it is.
