Great timing for this thread!! I'm just in the design process for my SIL's quilt for her cottage. And her favorite color is yellow!

Yellow is not my favorite color, so therefore I don't use it much.

Yellow is just so yummy. I think every quilt needs a little orange and maybe they need some yellow too. I would say more then half of all the quilts I make have yellow.

this was made for my twin grand sons but they passed away as they were born premature. Now this quilt sits in my studio. I still like it but it is so bitter sweet.

I'm loving all these yellow quilts, it's like an armchair quilt show. These have really made my day. I've been able to locate one of mine I'd forgotten about.

I love this quilt, color and pattern. What is this pattern called? I would love to make one like this. Do you mind telling me? Thank you.

I love this topic!! I guess I have learnt not to think I dont like a colour as all colours can go together and many tie a piece together. I can not wear yellow clothes but I will look at the colour differently now - thank you all for sharing.

Here is mine..I made this for my mother. Her favorite color is yellow and she lives in a log cabin... her room needed to be brighten up. It worked excellent in her room.
