Nina, we struggle to get fabrics here in Southern Spain, so last year alot of our friends here sent over fabrics for our quilting group, their generosity has been amazing, and a few of our friends have sent over parcels this year too :D :D :D

Here's last years fabric fiesta, when I shared it all out :D

Nina, we are always glad of any fabrics going spare

Any size at all, as I do lots of scrap crazy blocks too :D

We are right down the south of Spain about 45mins drive from Malaga, if you have google earth you can search for Lake Vinuela which our villa overlooks so you can see exactly where we are!! I am from the UK originally, we have lived here for nearly three years.

If you ever come to Spain you are more than welcome to pay us a visit :D

Cool

If you know any cheap places i could stay for a while i would love to take my mother (atleast some of the time, maybe i could come one week earlier than mum and you and i could go craft/fabric shopping first)

anyway, mum is also in bad health so coming to spain for 3 or 4 weeks if we had a cheap place to live, i m all for it, so if you could help me look for the accomodation part i will look for flights to Malaga :)

luv nina

It's always lovely to hear how much everyone likes these little postcards!!

This was a little thank you gift from me to all the generous people here on the board that sent over donations of fabric to me and my guild as there is very little quilting fabric available here in Spain Linda, but I agree it is a great swap idea, I took part in one on the Carol Doak site a couple of years ago, but it was a disappointment, I guess you have to hope that everyone who promises that they will send - do, in my case I only got one back... :?
