another one that I use is the clear disc you find in a stack of cds or dvds - use it to trace circle or to round corners

I use needlenose plyers when I am hand quilting to pull the needle out when I am embedding a tail between layers to finish off a piece of thread. and not leave a surface knot.

I use pizza boxes to store future projects in, (directions, fabric) that way it is all together and I don't need to do the search and find. Use large and small office clips to keep strips for a project together. I label the clip and can work without thinking.

What a great idea. I'll have to get one. Since it's summertime they're everywhere and fairly cheap.

I've never tried them on flannel but the Crayola washable markers have always washed out of the cottons for me.

Sandpaper is also great to sharpen scissors with; just cut thru it and you'll see how fast they sharpen.

Great idea! I always have a hard time squaring larger quilts! Thanks!

WOW!!! I've never heard of "comfort pads" for use with a mammogram! NOTHING about having a Mammogram seems to involve "COMFORT"!

Wow, a lot of us are very innovative! I use a lot of the things already posted, but something else that I do is jot down on a Post-It note what type/size of needle I have in the sewing machine. I stick it on the side of the machine, and when I'm finished sewing for the day, I put the note under the presser foot and pierce it with the needle. That way I'm not always guessing what needle is in the machine (and also not having to magnify those tiny letters and numbers to figure it out!).
